Great pics, gang!  And remember, the future is also the past! We've all been there as kids-just havin' fun!  Unfortunately, my ex ran off with the photos of my two as children, and did her best to convince them hunting was evil.  The result of her efforts is this: daughter teaches hunter ed and works as a wildlife consultant/field biologist, is a range officer for her gun club: her bow has wheels.  Son is studying battlefield archeology, is also a range officer at his club, and shoots a longbow with the old man whenever he can get away.  Hunting with either of them is like taking a naturalist along!  Oh, and mommy eventually lost custody!

Anyone remember teh story on here about one of the selfbow events, where a guy left his kid with some other elders to shoot and when they got back, the boy had an amazing tight group... and the Dad inquries, "How'd you do that?"

Boy replies, "Easy! Just kept pullin and reshooting all that weren't 10's!"

I wish I could go back to a kids simple view of life!  :)

Man this thread made my day as did that memory. My apologies for not remembering details ont he story..thought maybe Mojam story some years back, but hey..it's the kid that was the star, not the event!
The words "Child" and "terminal illness" should never share the same sentence! Those who care-do, others question!

Great thread and great future looks like IMO. Thanks For the mention, Brian. I saw a couple other Full Draw pics that I think are also on my TBD pages. However I also saw a bunch that aren't. As soon as i get a chance i need to go through this thread like a harvesting machine and save the full draws for a row (or three) of the "little rascals". Please don't pin me down for time though, I've got a bunch of things going right now. Keep them coming though - I don't mind going back to my "Apple Picking" Days - LOL - and I can save them from here just as well as from PMs and e-mails.

So you'll know - if you haven't seen my Traditional Bows Drawn Pages (and so you won't have any qualms about your kids' pics being on there)visit:

 http://residents.bowhunting.net/bsdunn/index.htm

Find the TBD link in the Menu there at the top of the page - it'll take you to 15 pages, of 60 Full Draw pics each (and pretty soon, if I get to this, I'll be on Page 16.

I'll Be Bahk!   :archer:

Wish I would have checked this thread earlier. I thought it was gonna' be one of them philosophical ones. Now that I understand, here is my future, (notice Mom pulling down the shades and peeking?)

The two of us with Hope, which he got to shoot!:

And one of my favorite pics of another future pioneer of our way of life, also holding Hope, (Southpaw Shooter is in the background with Faith):
