boards from crooked staves?
« on: July 01, 2010, 08:42:00 AM »
Hi, all!

I seem to recall a post on here a while back telling how to make boards from a crooked osage log.  I got a few billet-sized boards last night from a section of log that was straight enough.  After jointing and planing I have some beautiful lumber, but I feel like there might be a better way with less waste.  Do any of you remember that post or am I just remembering it from somewhere else?

Thanks!
~John
