I still shoot the hell out of the one you gave me Pete! And needless to say when I show it off people can't believe how awesome it is. Glad you finally got a bow. If I knew you were one of the guys without one, I most certainly would've made one (not as sweet as yours) for you myself.

Looking forward to pics of your bow.

Here are some pics of the Trad Gang Trade Bow , that Chisler made for the Swap. Its 62" 46@28, Mullberry , backed with raw Boo. The last pic is a small one that I took on the 19th,  I thought I would try a European Mount.

I received my trade bow from David Flanrey earlier this week. It is a hickory selfbow backed with raw flax and covered with timber rattler skins, 66" t/t(64" n/n), 1 3/4" at the fades and a straight taper to the tips. 45#@26" The handle wrap is king snake skin and it has a floppy rest. David also sent me 3 primitive arrows with self nocks, turkey feathers and stone points along with the bow. I'll get pics of these arrows and hopefully a full draw pic later on.
This bow shot my 600gr+ hill cane arrows very well.
Thank you very much, David. It was worth the wait!!!

for some reason photobucket has changed it's format and I can't figure out how to post these pics now. When I figure it out I will post the pics.

Nice Pat I think that concludes the the bow swap.

As far as I know everyone has gotten a bow except for the one that DVShunter is building that will be his second bow for the trade that he offered for a a recipient that did not get one. So I do want to say thanks to David. Also want to say thanks to everyone who helped make it happen.

We had a few late ones and the guys that where late are welcome in the next one cause we all know life happens and we can't help it. We will try to get all bows delivered on time this next trade though,

I will start sign ups after the first of the year and the dead line will be the same.

Kenny, that is how I normally did it but now when I place the cursor on the pic a box drops down and when I click on the IMG it says "copied". It won't let me copy and paste. If I was going to put it on you tube or facebook there is a place for that.

Hey Pat.  Try this.  Go to photobucket and when your pictures come up, click on the picture you want to upload to here.  At the right side of the screen you will see the message "share".  Click on "more info".  At the top of the picture screen you will see a tab that says "get link code".  Click on it and you can copy your img file from there.  It works, I tried it.

Thanks guys. I'll try both suggestions. I don't know why they have to change these things. It is hard enough for me to figure out most of the time anyway then when I finally do they change it.
Deadpool, It has nothing to do with a fair trade. It is about giving from your heart and not what you might get. If someone wants to participate that is a chance they have to take. So, please participate and enjoy the journey! A swap like this will help you up your bow building skills because you have to expose yourself and that makes better bowyers of us all.

Nice looking bow Pat.

Deadpool, all that is required is that you produce a bow that can be shot within 5# of target weight and it has to be shipped by the week of july the 4th.

Matter of fact my first good bow that I finished went to Swissbow in Switzerland so he got my first succesful bow. Since then I have produced a few good shooters and still learning bud so feel free to join in.
