Bow delaminating
« on: August 04, 2010, 06:22:00 PM »
I have an old Bear Black Panther Hunter bow that's becoming delaminated and I was wondering if there was anyone out there that knew how to fix it or if there was a good craftsman in Washington that might be able to.

If I remember right the black panther was on the inexpensive end of the bear line.
Is it just the tip area? if so super glue is great for this.

If it is in the main part of the limbs super glue still might work, if it's really coming apart then it's another story.

My comment on the original cost has to do with weather it is worth spending a lot on repair. A do it yourself fix may be the best way.

Thanks. It's worth it for me because it was my first hunting bow growing up.

It's the main part of the arm, right where it gets thin.
