3rd attempt its a success!!!!!

This should make marty happy... Last attempt lol before...... yes lance i lock myself in my heat box!

riser is zebra wood with some action boo cores and some of the purdiest red cedar i've ever seen

i skipped all the prep work it was 100 degrees today... so here we go ya'll wish me a lil luck.

now the bad i had a dry strip about 1/4 in wide right on the edge... DERN ooo wait.. lets just take the handle don to an inch 1/4 in of each side wall no problem.

still doin a lil sanding on the handle and i'm sealin the wood with tung oil.... probably only gonna do 2 coats i like that lil bit raw look.

Brandon, I'm probably the least experienced on TG, but it looks good to me.  What are you laminations? The zebra wood looks great.

Thanks brother they are red cedar outer and actionboo core.....

here's a lil somthing i did to it.... i had to do a lil flava on it..

congrats, your right that is some nice cedar.  I would make one small suggestion though, laminating a couple pieces in the riser will make it much stronger and feel more solid.  they don;t have to be fancy curves just straight ones will work.  very easy to do and will make a big diffeence.

Looks good to me the cedar really sets if off.  The young man seems to approve judging by his smile.  Nice job.

sulphur for sure i'm gonna do that on my next one... thinkin all osage under black glass with a couple of phenolic strips in the riser...
