I don't know how you guys can think and concentrate in a clean organized work shop.  I need chaos and loud music.

Outside, I use the right side for my workshop, the left holds my small tractor, lawnmowers and garden tools.

My messy shop, warms my heart just to walk into it.

Your grizzly green tools warm my heart Eric! Is that a gymnastics horse you converted into a stave vise?

Eric, I aspire to have my shop as organized(messy) as yours. First I have to build my husband a new barn and maybe he'll all of his stuff out of my shop...I mean the garage.

LOL Longbowwoman. My shop used to be in my wifes garage in our basement. The house would get covered with fine Osage dust, as would the drivers seat of her car when I pulled it back in for the night. When she got to work in the morning she would have to dust the Osage dust off her pants:) Didn't take much for her to let me invest 10 grand in an outside Bow Shop... Now we are both happy:)

Well, right now, I'm still building it. 14X20 with a gambrel roof and second floor storage. I made it 7 ft. to the ridge upstairs so I could walk around up there. Got the roof done last night. Kinda slow going when you are working on it during nights and weekends, but at least softball season is over!

Here are a few of the things I made for my shop.

Fletching table, lazy Susan type.

Glue-up table and C-clamp storage.

Drying box and stave/billet storage

Ahhh guys, i envy you with your great shops and all your fancy tools. I don't have my own shop, nor a lot of tools. I can use the shop of my friend Phil. It measures 3 x 5 meters and there's plenty of stuff stored in it. Sometimes we're up to three people working in it at the same time. I wonder how we get along without stepping on each others feet all the time...LOL   But hey, it's a place where i can build my bows so i'm happy with it.

Ok, I cleaned up the shop a little so here is the updated photo.  You can see the tillering tree against the back wall.  When I use it, I have a longer rope so I can stand back away from it and get a better view.  I also made a new sign for the door.  "Osage Outlaw Bows"

i have some pics everyone might be interested in. im not in a neighbor hood where the lots are big enough to have a seperate shop from the house so i use the garage.i used to have a free standing work bench, but thought the garage deserved more than that.. so i built these cabinets to store all the tools  and supplies. ive been tied up in another project on my family home so i havent been workin on these or any bows for a while but i thought that those who just have a garage to work out of might appreciate these pics , thanks for lookin, ruddy sorry about the mess
