Ok that worked finaly,yeah I know.But what would take a normal person 20 minutes to do on a puter...takes me 20 days.There she is 71#'s of bone busten Bear Kodiak.Please note the wrappings?Those are actuly Italian leather laces spaced even on both limbs and glued down..delaminated??? nope not at all.The beast actuly scales 75# did the laces add the extra 4 pounds or is it just a case of the normal Bear bow,which 70-80% scale over the marked weight anyhow???? pretty cool bow huh? bowdoc

Did the restoration include adding a heavy rubber cap to one end of the bow ?  You can use something like that for a crutch or walking stick.  

Maybe it is one of his old bows and he wants to look at it on the wall in its pristine state.   Be a great thing to look at and reflect upon.

That's really neat! I wouldn't ask too many questions, just do it for the honor and see what happens from there.

Of course I would have to ask about the wrappings and if it added any weight.

Don, I hope you take the time to realize the place in History Glenn and you both have. Most of us will soon be forgotten, but Glenn will live on for generations, and someday somebody will look at that bow and ask, "Who was this Don Ward guy?" "He sure did fine work!"
