HHB Hunting bow
« on: September 12, 2010, 08:19:00 PM »
Here the bow I plan on using for deer season this fall.  I finished it a couple of weeks ago.  It is HHB, 65" long and 55# @ 26".  It has a decent sized knot in the upper limb.  I stained it and used the spar urethane satin finish.  I also went with pin nocks and a floppy rest.  The handle felt great, so I didn't wrap it with leather.  I tillered the lower limb just a tad stiffer than the upper one.  I have been trying to practice every day with it.  My daughter has been shooting with me.  Hopefully it will put some meat in the freezer soon.

Very nice tiller!  I like the nocks, too.

HHB makes an excellent bow and you have done it proud with your tillering. Should put meat in the freezer for you.

Nice bow. I especially like the riser and arrow rest.  Good luck.
