looking for triple penebscot

so i was wandering on the net the other day , and saw a triple stave penebscot bow , iirc the guy made it from driftwood , but i could be mistaken...


it was a thread on a prrimitive site , but for the life of me i cant find it...


does this ring any bells for anyone?

Driftwood would be too brittle to make a bow out of and I don't see how adding a 3rd layer to a penobscot bow would be anything more than silly.   :)

I don't think it was meant to be anything particularly useful , and I wasn't sure it was driftwood, it may have been a branch bow...I still can't find it. the guy had two bows in the post, the penobscot was second fiddle...
ain't got no gas in it...mmmhmmm...
