Handle question

I am getting ready to put my first hickory bow on the tillering stick. My grip/handle is roughed out. Does it need to be finished more before I tiller it on stick?
Thanks

No! I leave my handles and tips wide until I'm sure everything lines up. Generally the handle is the last thing I do to a bow. This way I can allign the bow to the string if necessary.
