I normally get three, but I use too much epoxy on each one!  :)

I figure on six per quart set, but like Apex, I tend to overmix.   I always line up anything else in the house or shop that needs gluing to get at while i have the stuff ready. The layup I just finished also saw a chair repaired and my javelina skull mounted on its display board.  I also hate the very idea of running out mid-layup.   Out of 30 runs, that's only happened twice.   I usually have some left on the palette to dry out and throw away.   I don't use the tuna can, just a one foot square board.   I use a wallpaper roller to apply and the palette makes it easy to use the roller.

I have done 2, and have enough to do a third.  Like all the rest, I use a lot.. better to over do it than no enough.  So looks like 3 is the magic number.. if you go thin, maybe 4.
God gave you hands, use them
