Has anyone tried to drill and fill with superglue an air bubble under clear glass?

Sorry to hear about your bubble.  How big is it and where is it located?  I have never drilled and filled with superglue not saying it won't work just never personally tried it.

I have trashed some limbs and started over and have been able to hide some with overlays.  I am beginning to wonder if clear glass is worth the hasssle.

I had a bubble under clear glass over zebra wood. It was about 10 inches from the tip on the belly of the bow. I used an electric heatgun to heat the glass and peel it back with a sharp putty knife. I scraped off all the epoxy I could between the glass and the zebra wood they used smooth on to re-glue the glass. I wrapped the limb with  string to hold it tight till the epoxy set. Turned out perfect and the bow is still inservice. Just go slow and don't burn the glass. Also if you heat the epoxy it will flow all the way down.

I dont think I would drill a hole. The fibers in the glass run lengthways and you would be cutting them in two. I would be affraid of a failure later.
I once epoxied a four leave clover over a bubble to hide it. depends on where its at, you might be able to camouflage it.

If it's not too big it may not be a problem.

The thing is, you only hear about folks having problems with bubbles under clear glass because under colored glass you can't see them.  Makes me wonder how many colored glass bows have bubbles you never see or notice.

The bubble is small and near the riser on the back of the bow.  I don't think it will affect the performance of the bow, just the cosmetics.  I don't think I am going to do anything with to corrrect it.  I agree with you Jess, I like black glass better.
