Yellow Heart

Has anyone used yellowheart for and all wood bow? Bamboo backed with a Yellow heart core???

I built a bamboo backed yellowheart bow several years ago, it worked fine, not as strong in compression as osage but better than hickory.
I didnt miss, thats right where I was aiming

Yellow heart is awesome stuff. And it's beautiful. Careful sanding it though, too fast and you'll burn your material. Finish it with some sort of poly, and you'll get a very deep finish. Good luck.

Thanks guys, guess I will get this bow out and do some tillering. Glued up about a year ago and   never finished it.
