The darker laminations have alcohol on them to show the grain/color.

Funny,when I cut into this board all these were going into "my" private stash,I had never seen Myrtle like this! but then I thought why not let others build their dream bows.I did keep a few though.

You're killin' me! I made a bow a while back with nice myrtle and I loved it but it was nothing like that. I wasn't planning on making a bow any time soon but you really have me wondering if I should go ahead and start one now!

Bodork,the thing that gets me is all the different colors that normally Myrtle does not have.

Thanks for the compliments.I'm out of the tiger Myrtle right now but will have more cut up by Xmas.

I do have a good supply of beautiful Myrtle burl that may be of interest?

Wow! That myrtlewood veneer is beautiful! Thanks Curt. I am debating on whether to have the bowyer who is going to build me a TD use them in that bow's limbs...or build another one piece myself with these.
