Boy law! New Archer among us
« on: February 16, 2008, 06:35:00 PM »
My son just got his new bow from Mike Gibson (Crimson Mist). All I can say is wow. The first arrow he shot caused the biggest smile this 3 year old has ever had! He looks like a natural.

Thanks again, Mike!

Definitely looks like a winner there, Allen. Congrats on a future hunting buddy!
The essence of the hunt for me is to enter nature and observe+ return safely occasionally with the gift of a life taken.

Chip off the ole block, I'd say.  Lookin' good; who taught him how to grip a longbow properly?  :p

Yeah, bad thing was that I was at a 3D shoot when it came today-so he had to wait until I got home to shoot it.

Doc, he must have been paying close attention to you shooting last year!!  Had a blast today, see you same time next month.

Allen, that's awesome. You'll have to bring him to dixie next time! Great shooting today by the way.

Good deal. Crimson Mist knows how to make them for the small fry.

Thanks again guys, it's pretty exciting for me to see how happy he was to shot that first arrow. Only problem was getting him to stop shooting when it was getting dark!

Zane, I'll bring him to one of the Dixie shoots when it's a little warmer. Today was a great day to shoot. Nice score by you also.

Looks like "my" practice time just got reduced by a huge chunk. Evan woke up this morning wanting to go out and shoot! Looks like I have a shootin' buddy for quite some time now.

Awsome pics Allen.  You got a new shooting buddy for sure.  With the scores you've been posting at Dixie you can loose a few points and still take first place.  Just wait till he wants a foam core Morison too.....  Can't wait to have him join us at the shoots.  Jeff
