New bowstring, Help please
« on: February 16, 2008, 08:52:00 PM »
My brother cut my bowstring on my longbow today.  Being relatively new to this, I need some info.  Are string lengths simply measured off my bow length?  Where is the best place to get good strings and can I order on-line?  Thanks for the help.

Google Northwest archery or 3rivers archery.  They have just about anything.  Your string will be shorter than you bow or else there wouldn't be any flex.  Call them up and they will know exactly what you need.
