K30bowfisher That is going to be a nice looking bow, you know ****** is going to just love it.

Balding Kansan everone loves then wave snaky bows cant wait to see it finished

Johan van Niekerk you got a good one going too I bet its going to hold its owen against any bow made during this swap.
Some really good looking bows in the works, I know there is a lot of hoping going on now, by the ones that have not received their bows.
Can't wait to see all theses finished and completed.

Thanks for the encouragement everyone  :)

The "bumps" on the belly are pieces of tape and paper. Because my bows are reflex-deflex I find it difficult to get the design onto the bow itself. So I tend to draw out my design on paper and then stick it to the bow. I also leave it stuck there right until I'm ready to start painting  :)
It reduces a lot of trial and error in the tiller process.

Had a package from 3rivers on the front porch when I got home from my second job tonight. Tomorrow after school I'll get started on so-n-so's bow. Shouldn't be long before I post some pics. Haven't completely decided on a style yet but I do have some ideas.

Here's the finished pictures of my trade bow.  I've been shooting it a bunch and like the way it feels.  I wrapped the end of the kerf cut in the tips just for added security.  I've never had one give, but a good solid wrap is cheap insurance.  You can catch a glimpse of that plug patch in some of the photos, which still reminds me of a "beauty mark."  Anyway, I hope the new owner likes it; it should ship out next week.

you guys are lookin great. i picked my osage out of the firewood pile at the inlaws , along with all the locust i cut and have been waiting to dry , along with a couple other sticks i picked up. all of them had little grey spots except the osage. hopefully its ok.

got a bunch of stuff organized in the garage and i have to setup a tree , but i guess somewhere to shave is first off.

Texan I finished up a mollie a while back from hackberry. It responded pretty well to heat and turned out to be fine bow.

I took my swap bow off the caul yesterday and letting rehydrate a bit probably start tillering in next weekend.
