I got so excited today when my wife told me there was a package at my door.  I came home from work during lunch even... only to find out it was a friend of ours leaving some freshly baked banana bread.  Good, but not as good as I expected     "[dntthnk]"

The suspense is killing me!

Goose, I feel your pain.  Spent today cutting down some dead trees and cleaning out the shop and was stopped multiple times.  They all showed up, UPS, Fedex(twice), and the post man all with boxes, and none of them contained a bow.  So the wait continues.  The upside is that one of the boxes had all my hardware for my thickness sander build (will post a build-along when its done)

kelly dont remind me!

spent some time out there yesterday hacking away another 4 or 5 rings. i thought i was within 2 of my target , but i forgot i was going down another 2 to get to an even thickness ring. by the time i get her down to a ring , ill be muscled enough to put some temp nocks on and string her.

thought i had a bench rigged up , but the trunk i was sitting on collapsed. going to get ahold of my father in law to see if he still has the tree that fell last storm. figure ill but some 6' pieces and rough em down to 2" or 3" slabs , and make a shaving horse from that.

nothin like FREE!

I had an alignment problem I had to work through, but it is nice and straight now.  :)   Time to bring it down to the proper thickness and start tillering!  This month has been crazy with various family members traveling (wife is on a "work related" cruise in the Bahamas right now...).  Hopefully I will get some quality time in the shop soon!

Sorry, I haven't been posting on my progress on my swap bow.  Have been really busy with work etc.  ready to begin the final sanding and put finish on it.  Should have it ready to ship in a week or so.

had to tweak tiller a bit so now I have to resand and finish. I'll ship next week. Mailed out a bow today and felt bad about not sending off two. What a slacker I am!

Wow things are looking good. If you aren't looking for a package this week then you must be dead. Those bows look great. I really need to pull a couple of digits out and get working on my bow. Got a couple in th eworks but not sure what will be the swap bow yet. The best one icome up with will be headed off to ???

Scott didn't really change my design just a different one, I have one with the belly mounted limbs in the works also.  Glad to hear you still like yours, I will get a strung pic up soon.

The mail lady pulled up the drive way the other day and all she had was some tanning supplies.
