Yesterday as I was leaving for work the mail lady dropped a shipping tube on my front porch. I ran inside and cut it open, inside was a beautiful osage selfbow from DVSHUNTER. I almost called in and took a vacation day so I could shoot it, but instead I went to work  :knothead:
I have to tell you this is one sweet shooting bow. The grip fits perfectly and it shoots great, this was typical grouping at 15 yds. David, I cant say thank you enough, I am really happy with this bow and I cant wait to take it hunting.

I didnt miss, thats right where I was aiming

Semo I feel very lucky! I was going to explain that the target is standing on it's head because the mountains here are so steep, the elk grow upside down.

Nice, DVS. Enjoy the osage, Greg.
I shot my trade bow about fifty times this afternoon.  The bow is pulling about 35 lbs at 24". Looking for 45 lbs at 28". Shot pretty well, fairly quiet even without string silencers.
A lot more shooting, sanding, and finishing coming up.

I looked at some of Lee's bows this weekend, Nice!!!

I bought a bamboo backed bamboo but if the auction wasn't going on I would've came home with two bows. Maybe Lee drew my name    :bigsmyl:

I would be tickled with any of the bows built for sure.

Kris, lee would have drawn your name, had he not drawn mine. Kelly already told me who I had. Sorry to dissapoint you, but don't worry because Icantbuildabow drew yours, so I'm sure you'll be fine.

Shot 4 dozen arras out of my swap bow last night playing with brace height and got her dialed in pretty well.  Gluing tip overlays on now.  Hopefully another 2-3 hours with her and a Tru oil finish can start going on!

Hey Dan Landis!

You make one TOUGH bow.  My oldest daughter strung it backwards and shot some arrows when I was out of town.

The hackberry self-bow you sent me is no worse for wear (and she managed to miss the freezer!)

Did I tell you how awesome that bow is?

VA, Glad it held together and she missed the freezer.  It's nice that your daughter takes an interest in archery, definitely a good thing! Also, glad you like it......Dan
