Ok heres my trade all finished up.  Will ship tomorrow in the AM.  Hope who ever likes it.  49 pounder osage.  Skins were a little short so I dressed up the ends.  Put a otter skin flipper rest and a black leather wrap.  Red and black string.

Beautiful bow Shawn!

I keep seeing all these great bows and each day when I get home from work I keep looking to see if UPS or USPS left a long package somewhere.

On the home stretch now, hitmy target weight at the draw. Just gotta shoot er in and put a finish on. Its been Africa hot here in the ol' show-me state and beings how I work outside framing and coach little league baseball its hard to find the extra energy to git r done.

Ill try to throw some pics up in the next couple days

Ended up 1/4th too wide and too thick today. Gotta fix that tomorrow or I'll be in to making warbows here. Bending by tomorrow evening if all goes well.

Shawn, shes a looker for sure, what kind of skins are those?  I want to say copperhead but I keep doubting that.

Getting close....

Was shaping the tips tonight and had a piece of the zebrawood chip off on me     :banghead:    Also had a near disaster with the belt sander, but that story is too long to explain.  So....I finished the nocks and shot a couple dozen arrows through it anyway.

Cruising now.  Glue up of the BBI seemed to come out awesome.  I'm liking the smooth-on deal.  All cleaned up and have it roughed out and essentially floor tillered.  I guess I should take a picture at this point for posterity.  Up on the wall and ready for the long string.

It's easy to procrastinate, but once a guy gets going it's easy to forget about everything else.

Scottm sent me a great looking bamboo backed yew and osage. I'll get pics up as soon as I can. It arrived in late April and I haven't shot it much yet, only about 10 arrows. I guess it's good to be busy at work. Thanks for the bow Scott. Very nice Job!!!
