Make that 4 in the mail. So we starte with 84 bowyers one dropped out leaving 83. 19 bows received leaving 64 and 4 bows shipped leaving 60. I have 4 marked as completed and not shipped also, so we are moving right along.
Nice bow I would love to see *****'s face when this hits their door step.

Well you can add one more this weekend. HOPEFULLY. My goal is to be shipped this weekend. Ill get together with dvs and try to get some pics up tonight. Were takin the boys to a baseball game and hopefully het a little closer to done.
Got a string twisted uo last night need to shoot it in a little more. Butas it stands its 63 in ntn straight profile osage selfbow with wenge and purpleheart tip overlays gonna use some elkhide I got on the cheap for a skiv handle and came in right at my recipients #age at 29 in.
Dave and I are still awaiting our bows but remain optimistic. Hope everything goes off w/o a hitch and for those of you who are still working keep your head down and don't let your wives(or husband) get in the way of the prize!

And hova I would definitely try and freehand the the centerline. That osage can be hard to read but like it was posted earlier, in the right light it glows like tru glo sights if anyone even remembers what those look like :-D

h8non : i did use natural light and a pencil to kind of mark along where i thought the grain was going , but it kind of wanders across the stave. the gizmo actually showed pretty much the same line. there were a few spots that were tricky , but i split the gizmo line , and it pretty much was right near my freehand.

im working tonight on measurements and im just going to mark every 6" and do the width at that point then connect them .

does osage like a flat belly square cross shape or more of a trapped/rounded belly?
ain't got no gas in it...mmmhmmm...

I got a PM yesterday that one feller is gonna be shipping late possibly.

If any one thinks they may not get shipped on time just let me or Kelly know so we can forward the message to your recipient if it does not ship on time. If your Late shipping just remember we kind of expect that to some degree,(it is bowmaking and stuff happens, LOL) What makes it look bad is no communication so let me or Kelly know.
