Well I know of one more being shipped so that is 5 in the mail so you have 9% chance of getting your bow soon. there are 55 of you who have not gotten your bows yet. And that should be down to 50 by the end of the week.

I've been without internet for almost two days.  I did have time to work on my bow though.  Everything was going well and I was taking it slow and then the rasp took a bigger bite than it should and I developed a hinge while sanding out the gouged area.  I think I got it worked out slightly less than perfect but the weight was kind of light.  I ended up cutting an inch or so off both ends and that helped.

I cut the shelf in and it's ready to try some shooting when I get back to it.  I hope I can salvage this one as the time to start over is kind of late.

I just found out that I'm NOT getting laid off as the State of MN is close to shutting down with our legislature not getting a budget done by the 30th.  I'm one of the lucky few deemed "critical" so I will be working even if there is a shut down.

I have to go with my back up plan. BBO with gemsbok horn belly. Cross your fingers. Not going to ship on the deadline though.

WOW!  I've been out of town the last couple days so haven't been able to check in.  Lots of bows being completed these days and I'm starting to feel like a little kid waiting for Christmas morning.  Great work everyone!

I failed on my BBI...crappy glue lines so I set it aside to figure out later.  I also went with plan B like so many others.  I had an osage stave that was partially worked just sitting on my bench waiting for some attention. Spent the last three days tilllering and shooting it in.  Final sanding spraying the finish and playing  dress up starts tomorrow hopefully will get her in the mail on Saturday....talk about cuttin it close but I am prayerful that all goes to plan
I humbly follow in the learned footsteps of those who precede me.

Well John I marked you as shipped and  I got a PM of another one shipped. So that is 8 in the mail that makes it a 15% chance of you getting a bow soon.
Bona yes thanks for the heads up. On the 9th I will shoot out PMs to all I know who's bows will ship late. There are a few who thought they were going to be but most have told me they would make it. I ask that if you know that you are going to not make the dead line let me know in a PM or on here or stiks.
And Bona I bet **** would wait till Christmas to get a horn belly bow.

I feel better that I'm not the only one.  Trying to salvage plan B right now.  I have a plan C forming in the wings, but I think I may not need it after all.

I'd feel better if it was still May.
