I got back last night and no package for me as well but I'm in no hurry...

On I was gifted a bow at MOjam though that blows my mind.  She is about a pound at 3.5" and can really fling a skewer.

Im In no hurry either Goose. Its just the suspence thats killing me.LOL!Its just the thought of somone knowing they are building a bow for me and I have no idea who they are.Im one who has to try to figure every thing out.You know when you watch a movie with a good twist in the end and you you were able figure it out a head of time.I love that! This is so much fun to watch play out!

THIS IS NOT THE FINAL TILLER!

This is the tiller BEFORE the horn is applied to the belly.

I hope you can see the tiller alright. This is
6-7 pounds shy of it's intended weight at 28".

I think "Dark Continent" might be a good name for her. Gemsbok horn on the belly, zebrawood in the handle and tigereye beads as an embellishment.

Awsome bow Kodiakid!

Kodiak That is one sweet stick for sure. I'm a sucker for copperheads.

Bona the tiller looks pretty good. Bet some horn bellies will really set it off. Love the name and theme behind it too.

Sorry gang I got this bow on Friday and I have not had time to post a pic.

The bow is a one of a kind in my collection,,, hickory backed yew! I really like it and have had fun shooting it in the back yard Saturday and again this morning. I think the tiller is most excellent, the handle is very comfy and the craftsmanship couldn't be mistaken. Somebody's got tallent!

Fujimo!!!

And, I got extra's! Rough spruce shafts, a cool stringer and some sheep shearling I forgot to put in the pic... I will put it all to use.

Thank you so much Mr. Nicol   :bigsmyl:

Good thing I'm not superstitious cause I'm going to say that I am very happy with how my current bow is coming along. I got impatiant on the last bow and didn't do what I know I should have done. This bow I am using the gizmo early in the process and have plenty of wood left now that I have the limbs bending evenly. Put some temporary nocks on tonight and tomorrow will get it to short string and then to a low brace. Feling good and will hopefully have it in the mail by the end of the week. My appologise to ****** for being late. Will have some extra with the package as a token.

I was hoping to have been done and shipped by the middle of this week. A couple more coats of tru-oil and she is on the way. Here are a couple of pics. I will post full draw pics and complete specs when it is 100% finished. I do have a question. How do you write the specs between coats of tru-oil? Will it smear if I just add another coat of oil on top of the writing?

Looks good Juan, Glad to see I ain't the only guy using the spring clamps to hold a bow while the finish dries.

If you do a search there have been several post on writing on bows. I can't remember off the top of my head what the best way to do it is.

Johan, I am with you. I see bows and say, 'ooh I hope that is mine", and then another comes along that looks just as good. Absolutely tremendous work being put out this year. When I get mine out i hope it holds up to the crowd,

I'm on the other side of the fence on this Sambo. I owe my guy a bow still. I should've had him one sent 5 times over by now, but efforts were thwarted each time.

This next one should make him pretty happy I hope. Hope he understands why i'm late, and that I AM trying!
