Thanks,
Hov just take your time, I fear when that one starts it is going to shed weight like it is on biggest loser.
I know of one other bow received. So we have 2 in the mail 67 receive, 13 waiting patiently. 80.7% complete.

Yeah same here kelly, I'm at the same stage as Hov right now, trying to make weight.  I should have it pretty close by tonight.

Kelly,

I will be putting a bow and a few other goodies in the mail tomorrow.

Looks like this thing is wrapping up pretty good.

Got a bow today from Dave Bowyers.  Love the camo finish!  I'm waiting for the heat to leave and I'll shoot a few through it and add a full draw pic.  Thought I would add a few pics first.

Kris and Kelly, thank you both so much for all the work you guys have done on this bow trade. There have been lots of great bows gifted to a lot of great folks, friendships have started that will last for years and the Bowyers Craft has been given a nice bump into the future.
...and thanks to all that participated! The tallent here on the Bowyers Bench is incredable and the generosity surpasses that.
It's time now for all the hunters out there to concentrate on getting your limit and filling the cauffers so we will all have the strength to start over again after the New Year. d;^)

Glad it arrived safely Goose. When I was shooting it, it seem to really like 40-45 spine woodies.

Sorry I disappeared for a week or so gang. I started a new job Monday after being out of full time employment for over 30 months. In that time I had to file for bankruptcy, work midnights waiting tables, and days busting my back and hands doing landscaping work. I proposed to my wife, bought her ring, and our house, and gutted and renovated it over the course of about 4 months. I'm not sure "struggled" is the word, cause no matter what I will hustle to survive, but maybe "stressed to the max" is a good one.

Now, I do believe that my purgatory has paid off, because I've managed to pull a designer/engineer position out of the clutches of Chrysler! I've been spending some long and serious hours getting ready for my position, so my bow making had to take a back seat for a moment.

The even better news is I finally finished what I am going to mail out. Today when I get back from work I will take pics and get the up here. Hopefully tomorrow morning, the bow, string, and 3 POC arrows with natural fletching and tracers (if not, Monday for sure) will be in the mail and headed to California!!

I'm sorry I had to be one of the ones who went so late, but it took me 6 tries, which means 5 bow's worth of materials were lost, and I didn't want to send something i'm not ok putting my name on.

Pics to come...

"Dark Continent" is finished! Not a flawless beauty but a beauty none the less.

I have to get ready for work. I will post pics tomorrow.

I hope this works. A video of my bow in action made by KennyM. It's what i'm going to hunt with this season, and probably many more to come. Thanks again KM.

Any tips on my form are also appreciated. I'm always trying to improve!

Just got home from a few days of vacation and found a not so long white tube at the back door.  As soon as the car was unpacked the tube got opened.  What a beauty I received from "Vanilla Bear". It's hard to believe a bow that short can draw that smoothly.  Pics to follow tomorrow, the camera batteries are dead and need recharged.  My batteries need charged too, been driving since this morning.....Dan
