Kelly, Mine will go out early next week.  I'm stitching on the handle and searching for a camera right now.  I'm sorry for the wait. I'll send you all the info the moment I send it.

I have received word my guy got his bow, so those of you waiting will, unfortunately, have to keep waiting. No posts or email yet if they cared for it or not so.... I'm hoping they did?

I guess there's always next year's trade.

Kelly, mine is boxed up and ready to go. If my fiancee can't make it today, I'll take it to the post office tomorrow.  I'll send you the tracking numbers tomorrow and will post the pictures as well.

Got it! and here are some pictures for you too.

and full draw

Now for the sad news... after putting 50 arrows through her I noticed a small crack on the upper limb.  No pictures of it yet but I am hoping you all will help me find a solution.  I'm thinking super glue and serving or something like that.  More pics to come.

We have 6 people waiting one bows and now none in the mail. Give us an update if you please.

That looks like a really nice bow. I really would hate to see it fail for a crack.

I wonder if you can fix that by placing a thin osage veneer over the area...maybe going an inch or two beyond on either side. Sand it down and retiller it?  I have never tried that but have read something to the effect?

Well, it took me forever but I'm finally done and shipped. I had a blast and I hope my recipient gets as much satisfaction shooting my bow as I had in making it.  Sticks/ Kelly, thanks for putting up with me and I hope to participate next year, minus all the broken attempts.
Here she is:

  Strike plate

None of the money shots turned out, maybe the recipient will have better luck.

The bow is hickory and canarywood about 71" ntn and **# at **". The tips are a linen micarta and canarywood overlay. The strike plate is a copper nickel laminate which I made to add a bit of my personality. Ended up taking the leather handle wrap off as it just didn't look right to me, but to my recipient, you are free to do whatever you like to make the bow yours. The photos don't do justice to the depth and colour of the canarywood but I have to say it's one of the most beautiful woods that has passed through my shop.  Hope you all like it.
