Walt, I'm glad shes to your liking. So far they're some of the nicest tips I've made, but there is always room for improvement.  I woke up this morning and realized I forgot to slip in a letter to you in the tube.  Darned thing was sitting smack dab in the middle of my desk.  I'll shoot off the core of it to you in a bit. Good luck this weekend!

Bon Voyage, Kelly. Have a safe last few days and a safe trip home...and thanks for all you have done here on the bench and with your job over there.

i have put the osage on the backburner this year. the knot makes me too uncomfortable , so im sending a boo/maple/oak trilam r/d that john scifres sent my way iirc , with the intent of "do as you wish" ... its too fancy for me , but my recipient will probably love it.

just getting some tru oil on it , then a little wor on the shelf and handle area and it will be packed and shipped. probably next weekend it will be done.

Cool Hova, nice gesture on your part. That knot scared the heck out of me too. If you wish, I can point you in the right direction for some prime Osage billets. PM me if interested..

It's been fun and I've seen some really nice bows built and would have took any of them. I had some really tough luck with FedEx ruining the one i sent off but I'm over it now. I shoulda sent my second bow weeks ago but have been unreal busy but It's going out tomorrow.I don't think we could have had a better person handling all the emails and PM's than Kelly he's done one heck of a job keeping up with mine.I PM'd Kelly the other day about FedEx and those guys did come trough with some money on the deal.Anyways good luck on your trip home Kelly.

I applaud you Hova...you are doing the right thing.  Maybe next time around you will get one of those that you hate to let go...its an awfully satisfying feeling to let one go that you yourself would LOVE to keep.
I humbly follow in the learned footsteps of those who precede me.

will do Va will do but it will be  few weeks once I get back. I need to spend as much time as I can with the family but they all go to school so I think some stumps or deer might be in trouble.
