It was probably one of the more humbling things for me to do... make a bow for a Cardinals fan... especially with that name!

Haha that's funny. At least now the bow knows what baseball in October is like. I know Chris watched the world series game with the bow in the room last night. For those who are playoffly challenged, the word series is what some teams get to play in. Hahaha

Good things come to those who wait. Some just have to wait longer than others. I'm sure cuban missle can relate, still waitin for that world series championship. For a quick chuckle check out this site

I've been through the two bell bottoms crap, myself... Sort of.  Anyway, daddy named me after Stan "the man" who was his favorite player so I've gotta love the Cards!

You JUST stole the words from my mouth!  :)  Yesterday afternoon I received a package in the mail... Sadly I got it too late to take photos (bad light) but its a true beauty!
Thanks sooooooo much Joe! (Osagetree) This bow really exceeded my expectations.

I received a 65#@28" 2 piece take-down osage bow. It is covered with blacksnake on one limb and with copperhead skin on the other. It is also appropriately named "North American Snake Fight"!

It also draws very smoothly. I can't wait to throw a few arrows! This bow is just so amazing!

Thank you Osagetree! I'll post photos a.s.a.p and hopefully will post a kill photo using it in the foreseable future too  :)

off course, I will also have to rethink arrow spine. I just realized all my other bows are very close to centre shot!

Still...a nice kind of problem to have  :D

Glad you got it ok. This is a lesson learned on this on for sure. every country is different to ship to. Joe had to do a take down so it would not cost an arm and a leg. So if you are shipping to another country check the size prices.

I will mark you as received sorry it took so long.

And these are the only two still awaiting for their bows.
We are over 95% complete.

I have not. i need to pack and ship it this week , i will finally have the cash to send it...

i did find the string ... i started twisting one up , went looking for my string wax , and found the wax and the string for it... its much nicer than i could do and tuned to the bow afaik...

turns out i forgot who sent what to me. i thought it was a john scifres bow , but in retrospect i remembered it is from jamesV. its gorgeous , shoots ridiculously awesome. I did not build it. i thinned it a little around the bend to  try and get a tad more working , as there were frets here and there... i have shot this  bow close to a thousand shots i'd say...from 6" snow to 100 degree summer...

Will be trying to get it gone this  weekend.

Two bows?! I really appreciate the effort Joe!

Sadly, I also had the "international shipping shock". My own bow cost substantially more to ship than to make. Basically all due to the length. So in future I'll probably also try the take down route.

For a glass laminate. When would you guys recommend I do the take down bit?
1. Make a take-down riser block and then proceed from there.
2. Make the bow "blank", turn it into a take down and then tiller etc.
3. Finish the bow and then make it take-down after the fact?

Any advice would be most welcome. Also can anyone shed some light on the best place to buy these sleeve/socket take down kits?
