Heck if you guys get up here I would take ya fishing.  Winter on the Big Horn is a great time if ya dont mind the cold.  I dont mind the cold but  DO hate combat fishing with a thousand people so avoid the river during the summer months.  Thats when the two and three weights come out and we head for the little creeks and little brookies in the mountains. ALWAYS something to do here...in fact I think I am going to grab the bow and go see if there are any rabbits about this afternoon.
I humbly follow in the learned footsteps of those who precede me.

Brock,

Thanks for the very generous offer but it has been taken care of.

Had a bowyer from the swap (whom has chosen to remain anonymous) contact me sometime back and make the same offer. I have contacted him and he has been in touch with me and Kelly and all is good.

John will have a bow in the mail by the end of the week.

 As far as Hova.....

First and foremost I hope all is well. Secondly, I feel we have given more than ample opportunity for him to ship and offers where made to help cover the cost.

I am left with no other choice than to ban him from all future bow swaps.

So now that's all settled and we can move on and start planning for the next one. Sign ups will be in just a little over a month.

As do I Roy. Man I am almost jealous of the bow John is getting. I think he is going to be so pleased with it.

190 pages later we can start thinking about the next swap. Talk about making ends meet!  We can't describe the gratitude we have for sticks and Kelly for putting  this on. Great hustle guys. If any help is needed next time don't hesitate to ask.

Ps. I got the bow of the swap. 2 piece Osage!!

Let's just be sure to start a new thread when we begin the next swap and set a closure date for this one.  190 pages is too much!

There is such a thread Mark. I think it was Swissbow that started it.

So I got a series of texts; there's a package and a letter from Kris in Petersburg Indiana! And with that, the bow swap is complete. I can't wait to get home for winter break to open it up and get a picture up!

Congratulations Kris and Kelly and everyone else that participated. Some incredible bows were built and the spirit of generosity shined through.
It takes a village to put a trade like this together and it takes a trade like this to bring that village closer together. So simple!
OK everyone, get ready. It won't be long now before the 2012 Bow Swap begins. So get your thoughts, plans and materials together...and stand by!
