You guys with the broken bows had better not jinx me. I just sprayed the last coat of epoxy on my swap bow, I don't need it breaking now.

Former, Sorry about the big bang,     Like Pat said jump back on the horse.  :bigsmyl:
Dan, Same as well. Much better to blow in the process then when your all finished and shooting her in.
Kerry those skins look great! Looking forward to seeing how that turns out.
Some great work going on. I decided to add another layer of sinew to the bow for ,,,,,,,,,  :bigsmyl:   It looked just a hair light in a few spots and I wanted a little more reflex. She should have some nice reflex when this second layer cures out. Still haven't decided on what is going over the sinew but should be fun.

I broke a piece of cherry trying to dry fit it to my new Binghams hybrid form...  Nixed that idea and went back to my old ways and have on gluing up right now with simply 3" of reflex.  Hopefully it will hold!  I'd post a pic, but right now it looks a lot like scottm's pic with about 100 clamps holding things together.

Hova, be careful getting that holy water on an already dries stave. Could cause it to check! d;^) A little shellac on the back will protect it!

Heading down to the shop now to see how my glue up turned out...  Hopefully I'll get to spend a few hours on it today before I have to go back to work tomorrow!

im headed out to the bench now , do a bit of hefty sapwood removal with a hunting knife and well oiled rasp...probably the 4 in 1 cause it removes less wood than my mill file...go figure...

hopefully the baby doesnt wake up. the basement is like right where the garage stops , so the noise just reverberates all through the chincy walls. puh lease dont wake up. i need some me time...lol

just using a little spice incense to cleanse the karma around the bench. there was some negative energy hangin around from that locust i was going to use...

Here it is. It will take a couple days for the finish to cure, that will give me time to build a string and find a carpet tube for shipping. I will be sending a pm to the new owner before shipping, I wouldn't want this to sit on the porch for 2 weeks while ?????? is on vacation.

That's a stunning bow, Greg. Any chance of a full draw ipc and maybe a braced and unbraced profile shot?
