Well, Trux, if it's cruising night, you're the guy who came in the '57 Chevy!   Think I'll get in my Geo Metro and go home     :)

Just awesome talent going on here.   Aside from the eye candy lam bows, some of the selfbows are unbelievable to me...  Don't know how you guys make bows out of some of those pieces of wood...

Yup, I'm one lucky dog Semo, was on here last night and seen the bow Trux made. This morning the mail lady pulls in the driveway and pulls this long tube out her car. I couldn't believe it when I seen it was from  David! I need to go back to the garage and shoot some more.

NTD, It is hackberry, a close relative of elm.

Sticks, It's the natural back under the bark, just highlighted it with green and brown leather dye, then scraped the high spots lightly and added 7 or 8 coats of tru oil....Dan

Finished up today, except for string silencers, thought I had a few strips of fox left, but can't find them.  Will have to make a trip to the bow shop to get more.  Will be a week or so till I get silencers on and ship.
Here are some pics.....Dan
