That pic is actually from last year about a week after JLMBH 07. (If ya look at the double trunk oak off of my right ear you can see one of my best deer stands)
Shawn and I hooked up to do some more bunny hunting that day. Not five minutes out, I had a shot. It was close, but I had to thread the needle of the well known wild rose bushes. I connected on my second ever(and last-so far) trad kill. I first got into trad last year at Shawn's hunt. He took the picture, and then we went on to take about 20-30 more shots on numerous other bunnies.
I used a cedar arrow with a blunt-made by Shawn that I won at the JLMBH raffle, and my Chekmate Super Falcon 60" 50@28"- which I also won at last years raffle.
Im so glad I made the trad transition. I owe it all to Shawn and Damon(NOMAD88). Its a great sport, and you cant find better people anywhere than here on Trad Gang.
(Im wearing last years JLMBH shirt today to send the boys out hunting some MOJO)
OOOOOOOOOHHHHHHHH YYYYYYYYEEEEEEEAAAAAAAHH!!!!
