D, Maybe you can give some more details. What type of bow? Glass laminated. All wood?
I don't think having a tapered lamination would make any difference to the glue up and the R/D.
I would do the core, but either would work. In a glass bow the tapered lamination tapers something like .002 " or .001" the whole length.
In a all wood bow it's whatever your trying to accomplish
In a glass bow putting the tapered laminations in and the outside edge taper of the limbs is the formula that give you the tiller.
In the wood bow tiller is using the same idea but wood is remove from the belly to bring in the tiller.
