My latest take down recurve bow

I built this bow for a gal to give to her dad for Christmas.
Riser:Cherrywood with hickory and wenge accents
Limbs:Walnut core wood with eucalyptus veneers.
The itself is a 62" 41lbs@28"

I imagine he is very happy with his gift.  Great job.  I have become very partial to wild cherry in the risers, too.

Thanks fellas.He was realy surprised and overwhelmed that he was getting a gift like this for Christmas.

I was surprised too Chris.The cherry wood was so nice to work with,it carved and sanded well.

I  thought it would make the bow to lite.

I incorporated the hickory to give it some weight
to cut the hand shock down some.
