OH good god. You boys are cheating  now:) I buy clear plastic rulers at a local store. I like the idea of the clear plastic ruler for being able to see through it. They are about 3 bucks. Ya don't need that high tech tool if ya know what your doing:)

;)    Roy, that is why I need all that high tech tool stuff, cause I not real sure I know what I am doing, even when I know what I am doing.

Mickey used to pass them out at MOJam.  I have a couple that I use to lay out every bow I make.

I had a couple of them delivered by the man himself. Wish he still hung out here!

You might have to play around with the size to make it accurate.

I sure wish Mickey was around here too.  I was lucky enough to print off his osage how to several years ago before the pictures were lost.  I followed that thing step by step while building my first bow.  I enjoy reading his article in PA magazine.

I still email Mickey once in a while.  He's hanging in there.  Just doesn't do the online thing much anymore.

:)   I laid out to scale, as close as I could get, the ruler.  It took me about 1 1/2 hours to draw it up and check the scale.  Close as I could get.  First thing in the morning I am going to a graphic shop and see what they can do.  I talked to one Friday and they told me they should be able to transfer to a clear sheet and make it as close to permanent as possible.  I will let you know how it goes and hopefully we can get some printed up.  Here are a couple shots of what I got so far.

Hope it works.   :dunno:
