MBG. first post of a bow
« on: February 20, 2011, 10:32:00 PM »
this is an ELB 71"ttt 70"ntn 55@28 maple backed garapa. garapa is a cheap version alternative to ipe. so the sales lady said. tips and arrow pass are cow horn hoof form a farm supply store.(non smoked ones). handle is built up with leather to give it the bulbous look I like so well. grip is black leather from a goodwill skirt. and string is dacron b50. hope you like it.

Sweet looking bow, Garapa Gold, I've used it on a deck, looks great on a bow. Heavy wood, tough on tools, went through lots of drill bits.
