This is the second bow that I have used gemsbok horn as a riser overlay. The first was much easier. I guess if I had a waste high pile of horns to pick through it would be easier! This one is a 64" Ossabaw that will finish right at the requested [email protected]. The riser is ebony, with a bubinga/black glass/bubinga accent. The limbs are boo core, and bubinga faces. The tip overlays are buffalo horn. Supposedly the horn can be bent and shaped with a heat gun, but I found it next to impossibe. I even tried boiling it. Buffalo horn will bend with heat, but not so much with the gemsbok.
