stave or blank to trade?
« on: March 28, 2011, 12:04:00 AM »
OK...after reading every single thread )BTW alot of useful info in the bowyers bench)  in this forum..got the hankering to build a bow to completion this time and not blowing or breaking one like the last 85_+ attempts...was wondering if anyone had a stave or a partially completed blank to trade..sure I could scrounge up some useful trade items...I know I could get a elm board from lowes or walk in the woods and cut some trees but Im unable to walk far distances still after my fusion on my ankle and knee but if I could I would.. and after reading all these threads..I feel I could use some mojo from one of our many talented bowyers...if no has a extra..then no problem..figure I would try before I have to get my next to last surgery within the next 5 weeks on my shoulder done. thanks everyone

I have a few staves in my garage most are walnut or hickory. I will get some pics and send them to you if you want one of them just say the word and I will send it to you. just send me some pics of the finished product.
