hi just formed a self bow from a log and used the inner wood for the handle it made a nice dark contrast the wood is hickory all hickory self bow specs are 63inches tip to tip 1.2 wide at fade narrowed to .50 at tip .50 thick for length of bow its .60 at fade riser is 9.5 long to fade but after fade is my question i came across some nice dark wood pattern 5.5inches north on the upper limb [i like this limb for the upper limb] do you all think i can leave this alone or must i tiller this area out to make a nice shooter please help LjT
