« on: April 24, 2011, 09:24:00 PM »
Hmmm I'm sure you guys just sit around and wonder what i'm up too lol.... well besides missin turkeys. I've really been wanting a short bow i set out to make a 58 in bow but the stack came in light so i hacked it down to a 54. and WOW.... i'm in love.... here she is... Bocote/JAtoba riser and cote limbs with boo cores....

now the handle overlay is off the other riser i built with these 2 woods so it looks kinda weird at 1st but i think it's cool and i've never seen it done before...

and full draw... looks crazy but man it slings em... no shock no noise... taking her huntin tom... see how she does... don't have a name for her yet any suggestions???

LoL Gut Buster... if bows had that effect i'd build a lot more lol... I kinda was wondering about the hinge look at the end of the riser... here's a better pic of the overlay and a pic of the limbs.

and unstrung

I really like the wood combo. She very pretty. It's cool to "hear" the excitment in your "voice".

WEEE WHACKER! love it lol...

Thanks Glass, its a fun thing to design and build something but this one is really fun.

I've shot it a bit today and the only problem is I'm getting some finger pinch on my ring finger o well, I'll deal in order to shoot from flat on my butt lol..

Pretty little bow there, I'm sure you'll really like it in the turkey woods.
