I was looking at setting the old 9" Delta on the shelf and upgrading to a new bigger/better saw for resawing and other misc uses...

What is everyone else using and how do you like them?....

I was looking at the grizzley and jet 14" models...

what do yall think?

The Grizzly is the saw I have and love it. The prices are hard to beat also, shipped to your door and easy setup.

Two Grizzly 555's here... one for free hand cutting and one set up as a dedicated resaw unit.  Fine saws.   By choice, I'd have gone for the next unit up, with the iron wheel, but space wouldn't permit their footprint (also more expensive, of course).   These have proven out just fine.

Grizzly 14" polar bear here and I enjoy it.  I ordered it with the moveable base and purchased a new blade right off the bat which made a big difference.  My guess (not having used a Jet before) if whatever you purchase you setup correct it will work great for you.

I've had Craftsman and Griz, no comparison. I have the 555X with cast iron wheels. I've cut literally miles of lams with it, virtually no probs.

As said, spend plenty of setup time, it will pay big.
Stay sharp, Kenny.
