Slight Limb Twist
« on: May 27, 2011, 07:35:00 PM »
I have a New Martin Dream Catcher I sent back because the bottom limb was twisted. The bow came in today and it seems that the string is riding on the right side of the groove on the top and bottom limb. And when I draw the bow and let it down the string is slightly out of the bottom string groove and it actually has a slight snap and it falls back in the string groove.

Is this a problem, should I send it back again?
The things you do today will be tomorrows topics of conversation, make it a good story!

You paid too much for that bow to have that kind of a problem with it. Send it back and get a new one.

I had Norm Johnson build me a recurve, and when it arrived here it had a twist in the top limb.I called him imediately and he told me to just twist it back the other way.I did just that and have never had a problem with it since!
