Should I worry?
« on: June 06, 2011, 01:57:00 PM »
I have this R/D glass bow ("Quick Stick" like the one 3 Rivers sells)...I like it alot, but I have been shooting her for a year and small, white perpendicual streaks have appeared under the clear glass on the back of the bow:-(

They are not unlike frets on a selfbow, but they occur on the back of the bow, not the belly. They occur on both limbs, circa mid limb. I marked a few with a black marker (faint black marks on the picture) months back to see if the increased in size...dont think they did, but a few more have occured since then:-(

I have plenty experience with selfbows....but I have no idea if this spells the beginning of the end of my glass bow. What should I do...if anything at all?

Cheers

Guess I'd contact that manufacturer and ask the same question.
"Reparrows save arrows!"

"But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he that cometh to God must believe that he is and that He is a rewarder of them that diligently seek Him." Hebrews 11:6
