Made a trip to KC today, came back with jatoba(2 on left), moradillo(2 in center), zebra (2 on right), and some sweet birdseye maple that I forgot to take a pic of!
I think the inspector even approved! :D

Oh, forgot to say that is a small part of what I came back with! Went overboard a little....as in may end up walkin the plank!

Kenny - Those are gonna make some real nice lams for one lucky customer of yours. I might have to try jatoba in the next bow I build for myself, but if I build myself another bow right now, my wife will have me walkin the plank.

Hey John, the jatoba is a sleeper, my son picked a pc I had for his bow, I was pleasantly surprised. Sooo, when I found a good stock of it with some good grain, I picked thru it and bought a bunch. Now I just gotta get it on my website! :cool:

That does look very nice. I'll definitely consider jatoba for my next bow. Can you use it for the working lams or is it best to use it as a veneer?
BTW - That bubinga you sent me a couple weeks ago looks great. I just have to get some leather for the grip and it will be done. I'll post some pics.

The moradillo I purchased off Kenny some months back is just gorgeous under clear glass. Very Sharp! Good haul, Kenny.
