I just glued up a limb, other one  in a few hours. Almost built a long form and glued up both end to end, then sawed in center, but wasn't sure how that would work out and I had a short scrap of plywood to  use for the form anyways.

I have a feeling it is gonna be too stout, but my calcs say not.    We shall see, maybe tomorrow...

Guess since its a TD, I could make a riser about 36" long for it!
Stay sharp, Kenny.

Good luck on hitting your weight Kenny.  The first one is a guess at best.  I had a form once for gluing both limbs at one time, kinda like a one piece without the riser.  It worked well but went back to the shorter form anyway.

Correct me if i'm wrong, but if you add 2 limbs at 29" each, to a 16" riser, you get a 74" bow? Maybe that 10" limb pad jargon has something to do with it being 64"? Is it you subtract 5" for each limb pad?

Either way, I still think you need an apprentice, and that apprentice should be ME! muhahahaha jk. But I would take the internship if available      :)
That is a 14(edited) degree pad, but you have it anyways, the limbs and riser overlap to hopefully make a 64"!   :saywhat:

Any ideas or thoughts appreciated!

Weight came in at 49@28 first pull, should finish out around 43-45

Stack was .320, takes .360 on the one-pc 64" with the superlam(has powerlam and tipwedge builtin), I'll have to chrono it later and see what .040 less does!

Gotta build a 10 strand d-97 first.
Stay sharp, Kenny.

Looks like it is bending nicely- good wag on the stack, that's a good weight to shoot.

She looks great Kenny! And thanks for the info. Looking forward to the finished result. 45# bows are the best all around weight IMO.
