Exotic woods...
«

I just recently returned to bow making after many years off. The supplier I once used for exotic woods is no longer in business and I am struggling to fin a good source. Phoenix is a big city and i am only 25 miles away... but the few sources I have tried just don't ever have what I am looking for.
Do any of you have a good source for figured wood? Maybe someone who knows what bowyers are looking for and can talk the same language?
Thanks for your help on this one,

WOW.. two great suggestions. Do you guys find that they actually send you wood that is highly figured like the photos? Or do they show the best stuff and then send mediocre product when you order it?

Have you gone to wood workers source? I always find stuff there I can't live without. I think there are two stores in the Phoenix area and one in Tucson.

Terry Dunn, aka Ruby Dog. The best selection I have found, not to mention I have found no one that beats his prices. La Vernia, Tex. Just outside of San Antonio. 210 877 4509. I shop no where else.
