Ok, pease let me know what you think and where yu believe I need to remove wood. having trouble getting the limbs even so i can move to theshort string. Both limbs are even lengthed and am pulling long string from the middle. I am getting about 6" of tip movement but don't want to pull any further until they are even. Do not want to loose too much weight either. Right limb is bending more near the fade and has nearly 1" more of tip movement.

It looks like most of your bend is in the first 12" or so out from the fades. Leave that area alone and get all but the last 6" bending some.

Razor back I can only give you the advise that was give me not long ago.
One get it on the shortest string you can.
two use the gizmo
three I would stay away from the fades and work on the mid limb and out they are looking really flat to me from a little before midlimb out. Just my 2cents. I hope the real pro come along and correct me if I am wrong.

Pat, that is what I was thinking, just needed some confirmation.

Looks to me that your floor tillering should be a little more complete before you go to the long string, lots of non-bending areas in you limbs.
A little more scraping during floor tillering and you should have a pretty even bend in your limbs when you go to the long string.

Got the gizmo working and an hour of scraping this afternoon. She is looking better. Will do some more tonight and hopefully have more pics then.
Thanks again for the input, and the advice on the floor tillering Eric. Already put that to work on another bow I am working on.

Eric, I must not understand the floor tillering concept. When I "floor tiller" I am looking to see that the limbs are bending. I can't tell very well if the entire limb(s) is bending evenly as I floor tiller. Any advice?

Put the limb along side your leg and lean into it while peering down its length, you can see flat spots easier than you think. I BELIEVE that is what Eric is saying.
