Started looking at some options for summer hunting headgear and thought it might be fun if some of you posted pictures of you favorite hunting hats.

I've forgotten how to post pics; but my favorite hunting hat is a brown Donegal Irish flat cap from Noggin Tops. it's wool with ear flaps repels rain well and doesn't interfer with the bowstring at full draw. In warm weather i just wear a bandana "gypsy" style. I also like a shemagh on slightly cool days when stalking as it's checkered pattern in sand and black makes for good face camo.  Irish Flat cap   shemagh
I also have several fedoras and toques.

Mine is a Stormy Kromer! I love this hat, I wear a under armour head mask in the cold weather with the Kromer and I'm good to go!

Here's mine.....

This hat came from Wa* **rt and is the last remaining piece of my first turkey hunting outfit. I took my first(and only) turkey, my first traditional deer kill, and fell out of my first treestand wearing this very same hat.
...kinda brings a little tear to my eye...

This one's mine.

It won't blow off.  All the rain runs down the cap to the tail and drips there.  Nothing grabs it, including the honey locust thorns we have in abundance here.  Plus it's warm!  Have you ever seen a skunk shiver in the cold???     ...I can tell you why.

I have shot many deer with this hat. My daughter shot her first deer with it. I was wearing it while standing next to my brother in law when he shot his first deer. Good Mojo!

Just one more step please!

Here's my favorite. Came from Adkmountainman, his dogs played with it some and conditioned it to fit my head.

Just can't get away from an old felt short brim my brother gave me 30 years ago. Signed by Charlie Daniels and looks like Bowdoc's above without the custom air shaft. Can't say exactly why I wear it (have many others) but I always do.

My favorite hat is a Filson crusher, but when I tried to take a picture of the skunky thing, it hid under my bed and won't come out.
