I agree with you I have spent serious time looking at that same Schulz bow advertisement.

I haven't been on here in a while and didn't see this thread was still going. I have been busy trying to chase down one of are big bucks to run a arrow through.

Stan, I wil send you a PM with my number and I will be glad to fill you in on how this bow was made.

You said you kept going back to the Howard Hill add and looking at the bow...I keep going back to this thread to look at your bow.  Very nice. thanks for the info and nice pics.

Well,i keep going back to this bow and looking at it.
Like someone else said allready....
One of the nicest looking bows ive seen on here.Its what a longbow is sposta look like,in my mind.
Target archery is seeing how far away you can get and still hit the bull's eye. Bowhunting is seeing how close you can get and never miss your mark.

I was finaly able to pull this bow and did a little hunting this morning and she made good on a fine turkey.

very nice Tracy, I like the looks of Osage with the bamboo backing. Great job and thanks for the all the pictures. The ultimate test of a new bow is how well it shoots and from the looks of that turkey, it does that too.  :thumbsup:

Well THERE is my next project...a copy pf a copy of the original.  I love Hill style bows and this one is probably my favorite of all,

 What kind of form did you use on this build
Striker stinger 58" 55# @ 28
any wood bow I pick off the rack.
