7lakes longbow blanks
« on: August 02, 2011, 03:02:00 PM »
While doing research on 7lakes longbow blanks I noticed that several of you had done one. Would  you give me any advise or comments that would help me avoid any disasters in the finishing of the bow. Thank you........Crow

I've done two, I don't think you can create a disaster.  The blank will come to you already tillered.  The arrow shelf already cut out and roughed in.  From there with a palm sander and lots of sandpaper you really can't goof it up.

I love mine.  Good luck with yours.
