Growing Osage
« on: August 30, 2011, 12:04:00 PM »
Has any one ever trained their own osage trees?  I have been playing with the idea since I have some room to grow a few.  You could train them Nice and straight with no knots.  Just something I have been thinking about.

I planted a few horse apples last year but they haven't broke through the ground yet. I'm still waiting...

I've got a bunch I'm training now, they look good on the outside. I trim all branches every year and keep other trees away too.
